Asia Mechatronics is an American-owned manufacturing and engineering company in Taiwan with a joint-venture toolshop in China, WesTool-Asia. We deliver high-end, U.S. quality products direct from our Taiwan factory to small-to-medium-sized companies searching for a way to compete with offshore rivals without having to set up their own operation in China or constantly wrestle with the quality and communications problems of dealing with non-native English speaking suppliers.
Our prices are competitive with Mainland China because we're a lean, efficient, well-managed Taiwan operation. The quality and experience of our technicians exceeds that of Mainland China while our costs of doing business are much lower than in Australia, Europe or the U.S.

We use video conferencing equipment in our engineering and adjacent manufacturing areas to facilitate long-distance technical communications.
We build our own rapid molds at China-level tool prices and two-week average lead times. Our production molds are all stored in our own tool storage facility where we perform our own periodic tool maintenance.

Asia Mechatronics sources all its own raw materials and components in Asia to ensure quality and low pricing.

AM creates detailed English-language specifications at the start of every project so every part is completely defined.

AM has duplicate part specifications in Chinese to ensure our local engineers and manufacturing staff fully understand customer requirements.

These Chinese specifications are electronically linked to the English-language specifications so details entered in the English specifications automatically update in the Chinese documents to ensure manufacturing personnel in Taiwan are working to the same, clearly understood standards our customers expect.

Key stages of all manufacturing projects are scheduled and weekly progress reports automatically issued to customers. First article production is video recorded and the videos posted on our FTP site the same day for quick customer review.

Written production procedures are created to organize and expedite startup rather than relying on trial-and-error methods.

Key production process parameters and setpoints are recorded on production procedures for continuity.

After customers receive shipment of parts, we record customer feedback on quality and performance and translate these comments into Chinese and discuss them in detail with our factory staff in Taiwan in order to close the manufacturing loop.
